TRAVELING WITH PETS

In general, the Turks and Caicos Islands welcomes your pets as traveling companions. You simply need to bring a Certificate
of Good Health from your veterinarian that is not more than 90 days old, which you must present to the Customs Officer upon
arrival. Please note, however, that some dog breeds are not permitted into the country. Please check the list below before
bringing your dog with you.

Restricted Dog Breeds

As per Legal Notice 39 of 2003, Made by the Governor under section 98 of the Customs Ordinance, the following breeds of dogs
shall not be permitted entrance into the Turks & Caicos Islands. For further details or to inquire about exceptions, contact the
Turks & Caicos Customs Department at 649 946-2345.

i Akita
ii Any breed of Bulldog
iii Any breed of Mastiff
iv Any pit bull including the American Staffordshire terrier, the pit bull terrier, the Staffordshire bull terrier and a mixed-breed dog which has any pit bull lineage.
v Bandog
vi Beauceron
vii Canary dog, or Presa Canario
viii Doberman Pinscher
ix Dogo Argentino
x Fila Brazilliero
xi Japanese Tosa
xii Jindo
xiii Kuvasz
iv Rhodesian Ridgeback
xv Roman Fighting Dog
xvi Rottweiler
xvii South African Boerboel
xviii A dog which appears to have been bred for fighting
